Sports Columns

The sports column I read today was “CLICHES AREN’T EVERYTHING… …THEY’RE THE ONLY THING–IN THE WORLD OF SPORTS, AT LEAST, IN WHICH THERE’S A BROMIDE FOR ANY SITUATION.” by Steve Rushin. What I liked about Rushin’s column was how real he was with it descripting every moment in a sports game, to the clichés of sports such as lines like “they’ll eat your lunch” which can be used as motivation or trash talk in a sports game. Also this column describes a player/coaches everyday life down to the brutal honest truth.

Also other a column by sis boom bah humbug by Rick Riley is about the honest truth of the situation about cheerleading and how they usually they don’t impact the game in the article.

The last one from ESPN the Ewing Theory by Bill Simmons, and how it is an article that has different sports in it, and even to the lengths of pop culture, and the theory of how a team can be better without a hall of famer, franchise player.
